Do you want to get your children away from their screens and engage in play, art, and physical activity?
Do you want to find more ways to engage and play with your children?
Do you want a break to clean the kitchen, go on a date night, or a friend’s night out?
Do you want to do all of this while introducing them to a whole new culture and learning a whole new language?
I am Briana Bender, and you have come to the right place!
I am bilingual in French and English, a multi-award-winning actress, a student of Dr. Shefali, and a granddaughter of Dr. Teresa Benzwie. I have combined my love of the French language, acting, the arts, nature, and children to help open their minds and hearts to French and Francophone culture, all while nurturing their creativity and self-expression.
My lessons and activities replicate an immersion situation, providing opportunities for children to play, create, and express themselves. All the lessons build on each other, and the French language gradually becomes part of who they are.
My greatest joy is to see the most shy and reticent child become excited about French as their fear transforms into the biggest explosion of smiles, laughs, joy, and confidence.
I work with children from ages 2-12, one-on-one or in groups of 3-5. I can come to your home. You can join us or take much-deserved time for yourself. Please scroll to the end to schedule a free discovery call with me to get to know each other and discuss your needs. References are available upon request.
Dr. Shefali is a clinical psychologist who integrates Western psychology with Eastern philosophy, wisdom teacher, NY Times bestselling author, and leader of the Conscious Parenting movement.
I am honored to be her student, reading her books, attending her yearly Evolve Summit, taking her online courses, and participating in her online group, the Conscious Circle. Through her teachings, I reliably i
Teresa Benzwie (July 16, 1935 -- June 30, 2019), Ed.D., social worker, early childhood educator, dance educator, and author, integrated dance with child psychology and development, encouraging creativity, self-expression, and community.
I am proud to be her granddaughter, and her unwavering belief in me has been a true inspiration.
She taught me to carve my own path from an early age, when she dressed me up as a swan when attending the Swan Lake Ballet or as a parrot for The Magic Flute opera. She continued to homeschool me through the seventh grade with a curriculum that broadened my horizons through extensive travel by accompanying my father's business trips. She got me started on French at an early age, planting a passion that remained, grew, and informed my path.
